I congratulate the Private Hospitals Association of the Philippines, Inc. for successfully arranging its 43rd Annual National Convention.

The pandemic crisis left us a to revitalize our health system and that means our collaboration in pursuing reforms is becoming more pressing and vital.

The theme “Global to Universal – Exploring New Territories” highlights the pivotal transition of our private hospitals post-pandemic and, more broadly, their contributions in taking pressure off our public health system and to the industries whose workforce appreciate the work that the private healthcare provides.

I am positive that by raising the influence and the civic spirit of the private healthcare, we are forging a constructive partnership working towards a quality, financially sustainable healthcare for all.
